Now,I forgot who it was who did this,but I recall a professional wrestler that lost his leg in an accident, and billed it off as not losing it for a while until it actually came off during a match,in which IIRC he was disqualified for further matches(and the actual Wrestling promotion didnt actually know he had lost his leg - so it wasnt a case of Kayfabe), so yes: it actually is really possible to hide a missing leg like it was a real one
