Finally some more Mario fanart! If a bit strange.

Back when I was a young girl with nothing but a Super Mario World instruction booklette to tell me about the koopa kids... I couldn't have possibly thought that Bowser would only have ONE daughter, and the messy mass of hair atop Ludwig's head told me "This is a girl! ..She's not as pretty as Wendy. Maybe she is a tomboy." I didn't exactly know why she had such a weird name, though. So that is what I believed until I discovered Deviantart and noticed all of the fanart depicted that scruffy, fiery girl as a BOY!

Thus I have drawn Ludwig as a girl. I tried to make it subtle, since it's not like I imagined her with a bow or anything like that. I always imagined she'd have a deep, unattractive voice and be quite the opposite of her prissy sister.

I've drawn him as a girl before, but that was when I sucked more and it wasn't serious. So there.
I think if I were every to make an AU or fancomic including the Koopa Kids... I would want to take this sort of artistic liberty (Unless the fans would lynch me, of course!) I'm normally such an accuracy freak, too!

I my opinion, this is one of the best female Koopa characters ever drawn on this sight... Too many with 'curvy' or 'endowed' figures. When I think of a Koopa, I think of a turtle or a dragon, not a "supermodel".

So... Ten out of ten, on this. You did a great job.

Okay...I'm not a fan of Koopas, but this is an adorable picture. I love the expression and his/her hair ^^
